Within the scope ‘World’s Most Wonderful Gift’ project, the tradition of naming the new aircrafts after the newborn daughters of the Pegasus team members was broadened and passengers are also included to it since 2011. Last year “Dream Holiday” competition was added to this project and the dream of Ada Eminağaoğlu which was chosen as the winner from 7,400 entries by a jury made up of the Pegasus competition winning girls from previous years whose names were given to the aircrafts, was wrapped around Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The drawings of the other children, who participated in the competition, was exhibited at Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
Pegasus Airlines has been named a Gold Stevie Award winner for PR Campaign of the Year in the Travel & Tourism category for its ‘World’s Most Wonderful Gift’ campaign at the Stevie International Business Awards, one of the most prestigious awards in the Communications, PR and Marketing industry.
The Stevie Awards (www.StevieAwards.com) have been organized for 12 years and evaluates marketing and communications campaigns from over 60 countries. The awards jury consists of 200 of the world’s leading businesspeople and academics. The 2015 Awards Ceremony will take place in Toronto, Canada on 23 October.
